This is a short story which I was supposed to post about a month ago. Because of its length, I've divided it into two parts. As you will notice, this is part 1 of the story. I hope you enjoy.

Short Story
-The Airborne World(temporary title)-
As Alex approached his purpose, his fury and rage kept growing even though it already went over his limit. But surprisingly, he was abnormally calm. His weapon, called the "Phantom" which is fueled by Alex's rage and dark thoughts kept absorbing his fury.
'Just 100 guards, and then I'll be able to encounter him,' Alex thought.
He had already killed 400 private guards of Alegan, the person who controls over light in this airborne world and the person who took the soul of Lucia, his lover. Alex noticed 10 guards running towards him. He couldn't avoid a battle. Reluctantly, he pulled out his pocket knife(Which is the Phantom). The blade almost lost its shape. It was pretty similar to a black, vertical flame. Guards tried to attack him with huge spears shaped like a crescent moon, but it was useless in front of Phantom. Alex slashed the knife in midair, and 9 of them died. One managed to dodge first, but not second. As soon as the last guard died, a loud alarm rang.
"Ah.... such bothersome people they are!" said Alex, sighing.
Now, every guard in the castle will come to that location and try to kill Alex. He was getting sick and tired of fighting. His purpose was killing Alegan and retrieving the soul of Lucia, not killing over 500 people.
'I'll just finish up quickly and find the soul.' Alex thought.
He picked out a needle from Phantom, which was almost burning black like the knife blade. And with a snap of his fingers, it multiplied into 100 needles. Alex waved his arm upwards and they shot up to the sky.
Right after that, the guards arrived.
"Stranger, why do you desire to see our lord so badly?"
"Well, why did you try so badly to stop me? I just intended on retrieving a soul." Replied Alex.
The guard's face turned serious.
"Stranger,it is common knowledge that you have to kill or make the lord unconscious to retrieve a soul. I assume that you've already learned this fact somewhere, and I cannot let somebody who intends on killing the lord pass this gate."
Alex had a very disappointed look at that moment, and then just sighed.
"If that's your choice, I have something to give you."
While saying those words, Alex waved his arm downwards. At that moment, there was a black shower, and everyone except Alex was dead.
'Why is everyone in this castle trying to die?' he thought.
Even though Alex wiped out every people in the Alegan castle, his fury at Alegan didn't disappear. That much fury was the ideal fuel for Phantom. It started to glow(black), and suddenly, it floated up in midair and lost its shape of a pocketknife. Now, the Phantom was nothing but a black, cold flame. Alex was very astonished. He'd never seen anything like this before. Just when Alex tried to reach for the flame, a hologram appeared. It was the hologram of Franchesca Morelle, the princess of this world and the person who took care of Alex on his first few weeks in this world. The hologram began to speak.
"You've activated this message? How wonderful! Now you fully understand how to awaken Phantom's class three!"
'What the heck is she talking about?' Alex thought, but Franchesca's hologram kept on talking.
"As you're seeing right now, the Phantom's class three is a flame. But unlike any other flame, Phantom can become whatever you want it to be."
Knowing that it wouldn't answer, Alex asked
"How do you use this thing?"
But there was an answer, even though it was probably an accident.
"To really activate Phantom's class three, you have to tell your purpose to it and drip some of your blood onto it. Then it won't come back to normal form until you drop your victim's blood and say "purpose completed." Just remember this. It assumes that you'll kill your target, so once you activate it, there's no other choice than killing."
After giving a long lecture, the hologram disappeared. Alex hesitated for only about 2 seconds, and then walked up to the flame. With his second weapon, he made a small cut on his left thumb. He dropped some blood ito the flame and said
"I need to kill Alegan Cretos, the person who took the soul of my love."
After his words were spoken, the flame turned slightly purple, and floated right next to Alex. As he moved, the flame kept following him.
"Wow! How fantastic this thing is! I have great advantage now!"
Alex shouted as he ran to the portal which will take him to a region called "Sky Gateway," and to Alegan. About one minute later, Alex arrived at the portal and he jumped in without any hesitation. A blinding flash of light made Alex cover his eyes, but that was only for a second. After then, Alex arrived at Sky Gateway.
He began to shout
"Alegan! Come out and fight, you coward!"
Apparently, Alex didn't have to look for him very long. A voice started to ring out from nowhere.
"When you're looking for somebody, please don't use their first name especially to people like me. I think you have a very bad manner, psychopath."
The moment Alex heard that voice, his rage erupted. But thanks to Phantom, his face didn't look so terrible.
Suddenly, a small ball of light appeared in front of Alex and it started to expand untill in became as big as Alex. Then, there was a blinding flash. When Alex opened up his eyes, there wasn't any ball of light, there was a man standing and smiling. He had blonde but almost white hair, a pale face, and blue eyes that almost glowed. He asked Alex,
"Welcome! First time battling a lord, isn't it?"
