I'm writing again!!!!!!!!!!
Second time in a day!!!!!!!
I'm really sorry for people who think I'm talking rubbish every time and want me to go away and disappear from blogger forever, but if you think so, just get out. It's only an assignment.
Anyway, my rubbish talk was too long. So let's talk about my collection of poems.
First one will be a diamante poem, which is a poem that takes seven lines and it's looks a little bit like a diamond!
Well, actually the poem looks like a geometric diamond, but so what?
And the next one is a poem called "Haiku". It's a Japanese poem that has 5-7-5 structure(syllables). So, enjoy it!!!!
1. Diamante(A simple thinking about EOP paper and its consequence)
EOP
Terrible, Ridiculous
Frightening, Annoying, Tiring
Brain, Torture, Mental, Terrorism
Shining, Glowing, Devastating
Horrible, Miserable
Card(yellow)
It actually looks like a diamond, doesn't it? Now, let's move on
2.Haiku(Early Bird)
Waking up early
Breaking the silence of night
Slipping into dark
I'm not really sure if it is a real 5-7-5 haiku. I just had a feeling of writing one and made this in about 20 seconds. Well, I hope it's right.
So, did you like it? If you did. I'm happy to hear that!
I watched a movie called "Brave", and I'll be writing a responsive essay of that.
So, let's begin. The movie "Brave" is mainly about a princess who wants to change her future(also fate or destiny). But her mother wants her to live like any other princess. So they have a conflict, but eventually they solve it. Some people might say "Oh my god! So emotional an impressive and heart-breaking story!" after they watch this movie, but sadly I didn't have any feeling related to that. In fact, I thought it was a common childish Disney movie which contains adult-centered message deep inside and I 'll explain why.
I have three reasons supporting my opinion, so let me start with my first reason. The plot of this movie was so obvious. I'm not sure why, but I could predict what was going to happen. Also my predictions were about 95% accurate. A very astonishing result for someone who has never watched it before. This kind of movies came out too many times before. These movies would've been like by people before, but it is starting to get boring. There were some surprises in the story such as Elinor(Merida's mother) not coming back to human even though Merida sewed the tapestry up. But I thought it was some steps to make it more emotional. Other than that, there weren't any real surprises in the story. Also, some say that unlike any other Disney movies, the princess doesn't run away with a prince in the end. Well, technically, they are right. But there weren't any handsome prince to run away with.Even if Merida did run away, it wouldn't have any effect on story-predicting, probably making it even more obvious.
Second, the message included in this movie was a little bit adult-centered. Merida got tire of her mother always telling her what to do an what not to do. So she tries to change her mother into a considering, warm mother which always listens to her and gives her freedom that she wants. As she wanted, she does change her mother, but she changes her mother into a bear. As a result, she has some sufferings. I thought the message of that part is "Whatever the result is, you will suffer if you try to change your parents' thought." This shows how adult-centered it is, and how obvious that this movie is for kids. Adults have some dark thoughts in their minds to o some brainwashing to kids so that they obey and behave. But sadly, most of the kids don't understand what it truly says, so they just listen to what adults say. If every kid was like Adora(TED speaker), that wouldn't have happened. Anyway, in my negative an critical thinking, I just thought that there was some dark minds of adults included in the message.
My last reason that I didn't like this movie is the drawing style. I thought the drawing style used in this movie was one of typical child cartoons(Backyardigans, Dora, etc.) As I've mentioned on my self-introduction, I'm a mania of webtoons and animations, and very sensitive on drawing style. Some people might say I'm not being objective because I'm used to fancy drawings. But really, compare these two pictures.

Fate/stay night
I'm not saying that characters of 'Brave' is drawn terribly, but think objectively. Which one is better? And which one looks more childish? I credit Disney movies for breaking my imagination apart. Not all animated pretty girls and handsome man after all. How thankful it is! It brought me out from my misunderstanding!!(being sarcastic) Anyway, it was very unfamiliar. Everything else were okay such as coloring, shadows, background, etc. but the characters had a little bit unbalanced heads. My friend(almost an expert on animations) said that the United States could have been the most advanced country on animations if they didn't think that it was only for kids. Now, I really agree with him. As I've mentioned before, everything was very good except for characters.
So, that was my negative, criticizing essay of the movie "Brave". I'm not sure how you'll think about it, but I thought it was very obvious, containing adult-centered message(hidden), and drawn childish(characters). I'm now finished! I'm just going to read a webtoon to clean out my eyes.
PS. Do you want to know how TED girl Adora is?
Here's a video of her talk. But thinking of it, I think even she can't find the message.
Maybe I'm the only one that thinks it contained adult-centered message. Well, it doesn't really matter anyways.
Looking at the title, you may think 'what in the world is an ODE? It's just a type of poem that is a bit annoying to write. How do I know that? Because I've written one. Please read it even if it's terrifying. ODE TO AN ODD ODE Dear ode It's first time that we have met, but I'm really astonished. How can you destroy someone's mental consciousness only by appearing and appealing yourself in front of us? Your unbelievable length, unbelievable words has led me to severe acute brain-spinning disorder. How astonishing! I saw one of you created by an English poet. Its exotic and extraterrestrial English unable and difficult to understand. Even the teacher couldn't understand one of you!
How astonishing, odd ode. You are nothing but a whole bunch of English, Korean or Chinese or whatever written on a paper! How can a 1~2 paged text lay burden on humans! Odd ode, by your existence, all of class 13, 14, 19, 20 are suffering. Odd ode, why can't you be smaller for the greater good? We will be satisfied because we don't have much to write, and you will be satisfied because you lose your weight. Odd ode, please listen to me. Please be shorter that this. Please reduce our suffering. I could hear someone's mental collapsing from here.
Please, odd ode. you might think that your smooth, superb words of description make you one of the most beautiful literature, but please wake up from your daydream. Just for this time, odd ode. Why can't you put yourself in our shoes? Our brain has games and idol singers carved in, not elegant words of description. It's a heck of a thing for us to create something like that. Just for this time, odd ode. Please give up your elegance, your smoothness, and your rhymes. Then we could have been friends.
Anyway, odd ode. My thought is to make fun of you. I'll come up with ideal ideas that you've never seen in your existence. I'll put my every effort into my creation so that you have a mental breakdown just like you did to us. It's time to make things even. I will not be fooled by your foolish length, or your exotic words. Heads up, odd ode. I'm going to conquer you! Really seriously, Min Jae (J)
First, what is a goal? It wouldn't be something like this
A goal is something that you want to achieve. My goal for this camp are something like this. 1. Mastering dance moves for the dance festival - To achieve this goal I'll watch a video about dancing often, practice whenever I have time with my friends.
Hopefully we could do stuff like this
2. Getting up earlier than 5:00 every morning. - In GLPS, waking up early means time for morningboredom, but it's good to have habits like this, doesn't it? So I'll sleep earlier than 11:00 p.m., remind myself that I need to wake up early, wash to wake up completely. 3(and final). Drawing every day -Like I've said before, I'm a guy who's gone berserk on comics and recently animations and hoping to draw like them. To become a good drawer, I'm planning to finish my assignments fast so that I have time, think about themes to draw every time(not in class), and being brave enough to accept failures.
So, I've written stuff about my goals, but what is yours? Frankly, I don't care about your goals, but it's good to think about it for a second.
Hello, people! My name is Min Jae(also J, Mark, whatever) I'm going to introduce myself even if you don't want me to. So please just read it. First, I really like online comics(also called webtoon). They take me to the world of imagination. One of my favorite online comic is called Tower of God.

I've recently started watching animations, too. The characters are so well-drawn and it's just like online comics(but animation is a motion comic). And my hobby is drawing. I hope to improve my skills so I could draw like people who create animations and online comics. Last thing. I really hate crowded places because they are too noisy and easy to bump into someone.
